Vita/Bio
Norbert Soke, MD, MPH received a Master degree in Public Health in 2008 from the School of Public Health at the University of Colorado Denver after completing his Medical Doctor degree in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Prior to joining JFK Partners, He was a primary care Physician and a Project Manager for World Vision implementing a number of Public Health programs which focused on Maternal and Child Health for underserved populations in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Being himself a parent of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Norbert's specifics areas of interests are screening for Autism Spectrum Disorders and services delivery for families of affected children. After completion of the fellowship, Norbert is hoping continue to work for the implementation of a national, easier and quicker screening system for Autism Spectrum Disorders so that children can be diagnosed at earlier age and therefore, the burden of waiting for the diagnosis on the families can be limited. He also wants to be involved in advocacy so that more qualitative services are offered and covered for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families.
