Vita/Bio
Kathy Kennedy, DrPH, is Associate Clinical Professor of Preventive Medicine and Director of the Regional Institute for Health and Environmental Leadership, an advanced leadership training program, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico departments of health and environment, and several foundations/contributors. The program is a model of inter-sector leadership development for health and environment professionals in the public and private sectors. She is PI on grants and contracts from MCHB, CDC, Health One Alliance, and the Universities of Arizona and Alaska, to conduct research or create programs for advanced leadership training, mch health education and distance learning methods. Dr. Kennedy has taught JFK's Leadership Dialogues Course since 2006.
