Interdisciplinary Technical Assistance Center on Autism and Developmental Disabilities

Mary Jane Rapport, PT, DPT, PhD, is a Professor in the Departments of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pediatrics. As Assistant Director of the Physical Therapy (PT) Program, she participates in the leadership of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and oversees the Transition DPT Programs.  She also teaches and provides physical therapy and early intervention services to young children and their families. She currently serves as the Physical Therapy Discipline Director for the LEND Program. Prior to assuming her faculty role and responsibilities in the PT Program in 2005, Dr. Rapport focused on special education, and children with DD and their families, including roles as the CDPHE OT/PT State Consultant for the Health Care Program for CSHCN, and Director of Interdisciplinary Training and Education at JFK Partners. She has been involved in interprofessional education and disability law and policy throughout her professional career. She has a record of publications and national presentations at numerous professional conferences.
