Steven Isaacson, B.A. is a Policy Analyst at the Office of Autism Research Coordination (OARC). Mr. Isaacson will share his lived experiences with autistic leadership. Steven believes in the power of autistic peer mentorship and strengths-based practice. Mr. Isaacson will share his perspective as an autistic business owner and peer coach.

Presenter:

Steven IsaacsonSteven works as a Policy Analyst in the Office of Autism Research Coordination (OARC) at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). Concurrently, Steven is an Autistic Activity Group instructor at the Hussman Center for Adults with Autism at Towson University, where he engages with autistic adults to build social and communication skills. Previously, Steven was a job coach at Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore and a community-based Autism case manager at Open Sky Community Services in Central Massachusetts. Steven is slated to graduate with his Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, in 2023. He received the Award for Excellence in Autism Studies from the Post-Baccalaureate program at Towson University. Steven received his B.A. in Political Science and the Joe de Rivera Peace Prize in 2017 from Clark University in Worcester, MA.
