The urgency for sensory considerations in clinics has never been more pressing as clinical services transition from remote to in-person.  Dr. Nunez will present strategies to create sensory inclusive clinical spaces for patients of all ages.  The webinar will focus on outpatient clinical care and methods to support patients that will benefit from sensory considerations in medical care.

Denise M. Nunez MD, MPH

Denise M. Nunez MD, MPH is a preventive medicine physician from University of California, Los Angeles.  Her work with the neurodiverse population stems from her fellowship training as a Leadership in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program graduate. During her training, she explored the challenges pregnant persons with autism spectrum development experience during pre- and post-natal periods.  She continued her work at UCLA's LEND clinic, where she advocates for the best outcomes for all patients and explores ways to improve patient care.
