Poster PresentationVa-LEND Assistant Director Jackie Robinson Brock leads the Early Childhood Partnerships initiative. This project is a innovative virtual collaboration among three Universities, and their Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) and University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) programs. The project created a mechanism for sharing knowledge and expertise for interdisciplinary leaders in the early childhood field for young children (0-8 years of age) with neurodevelopmental disabilities. The initiative provides a virtual opportunity for trainees and leaders in the Early Childhood field to network with one another and learn best practices around person and family centered practices and culturally responsive care.

Jackie Robinson Brock wanted to showcase the collaboration in an accessible and fun way at the joint Division of Early Childhood Conference and International Society on Early Intervention Conference in Chicago in late September. She worked with Inky Brittany to create a poster that demonstrated the results from the pilot in a creative and eye-catching way. To learn more contact Jackie R. Brock [email protected].
