Child Advocacy Training Module for LEND Trainees Syllabus
The LEND program at the Mailman Center for Child Development encourages innovation through individual and group advocacy projects. LEND trainees are encouraged to choose an issue they are passionate about and do a literature search for updated information. Trainees then meet with a faculty mentor and a community-based organization to develop an advocacy plan that addresses the issue at a systems change level.
