Telehealth information and communication technology access for family caregivers of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health needs
Product Description:
Telehealth is increasing used for mental health services; its benefits for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health needs (IDD-MH) are not fully realized. This study addressed access to information and communication technologies (ICTs) as reported by family caregivers. Disparities in ICT access for adults, specific racial/ethnic groups, and sole caregiver households were found. Telehealth policy must address equity in ICT access for persons with IDD-MH.
