Project ECHO Orientation for UCEDDs/LENDs

Tuesday, May 9, 2023

ECHO is a training and capacity-building model intended to support inter-professional connection and best practice implementation. ECHO networks utilize an “all teach, all learn” approach to expand knowledge and skills, with a focus on building capacity and communities of practice across health and education.

ECHO Orientation: Join the Project ECHO Orientation to learn more about the ECHO model and how you can incorporate it into your work as a UCEDD (University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities) or LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities) program (or partner organization). Partners at the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities and the Center for Human Development at the University of Alaska Anchorage will share how they are implementing ECHO.

ECHO Orientation
Tuesday, May 9, 2023
1:00pm PT / 2:00pm MT / 3:00pm CT / 4:00pm ET
Register to receive the Zoom link

Who should attend: UCEDD staff and faculty, LEND trainees, and organizations or partners working with UCEDDs and LENDs. Current ECHO partners are also welcome to join the orientation.

Become an ECHO partner: You’ll learn more about next steps to becoming an ECHO partner, including information on our Partner Launch Training on August 7-8, 2023.

Already an ECHO partner? Join the newly formed UCEDD LEND ECHO Collaborative [uwyo.edu]. These monthly calls are open to any UCEDD or LEND program that is currently replicating or interested in implementing the ECHO model. The collaborative will allow UCEDD, LEND, and partner agencies to share successes, challenges, and strategies in using the ECHO model to build capacity throughout their programs supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
