Presenter:
Sarah DeMaio is the senior program manager for AUCD's UCEDD Resource Center (URC) where she manages the technical assistance (TA) team for the UCEDD network. In this role, Sarah provides leadership and oversight to the implementation of AUCD's UCEDD training and technical assistance. She is the primary point of contact for new directors, the liaison to the Family Support SIG, and staff support to the Council on Research and Evaluation. Sarah earned an MSW from the National Catholic School of Social Service at the Catholic University of American in Washington, DC. During her studies, she conducted research into the effective implementation of person- and family- centered planning as a Ford Fellow. Sarah holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania and has an older brother with Down Syndrome.
Oksana Klimova is the Director of Web Services at the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD). Oksana directs and oversees all aspects of AUCD's web systems in support of the association and network's strategic goals and priorities. She is responsible for creative design and development, from conception of prototype concepts through final programming, for all areas of online design, including association websites, extranet, online applications, online reporting systems, and online marketing website. Oksana helps identify appropriate internet technologies to meet objectives and assist in the implementation of web services.
