SIG Meeting: Home & Community Based Services (HCBS)
Tuesday, November 5, 2024
3:45 pm
- 4:45 pm
Meeting Level: MR 4
The AUCD Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) SIG is for individuals within and external to the AUCD Network who have interest in the HCBS Settings rule and who want to learn more about HCBS generally. The group meets monthly (sometimes more frequently) and has three priority focus areas, including stakeholder engagement, quality, and knowledge translation. The SIG’s priority is to build systems that allow individuals who are receiving HCBS to have the lives they want. The SIG is led by Sarah Swanson (NE and AUCD Consultant) and hosts co-chairs Jon Neidorf, Caitlin Crabb, and Wanda Felty. The SIG members want to partner with other AUCD Councils and SIGs to increase engagement and momentum around HCBS.
About AUCD SIGs
AUCD Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are made up of individuals that have common topical interest such as emergency preparations, family support, assistive technology, and so on. SIGs, which are open to anyone in the AUCD Network as well as external partners and stakeholders, serve as a mechanism for sharing information, engaging in respectful dialogue, and generating new ideas.
