Sara Thiessen earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology from The Ohio State University in 2004. She majored in Human
Development and Family Science with specialization in early childhood education. Sara received a Master of Arts Degree in Education from The University of Findlay in 2006, earning a Early Childhood Teaching
License (P-3), Reading Endorsement (P-3)/(K-12), and Early Education of the Handicapped Endorsement. In 2009, Sara earned Early
Intervention Licensure (P-3) from OSU, and is expecting a Principal
License for Early Childhood in August, 2010. She began working as an early intervention specialist at the Nisonger Center in 2006 and is
currently filling in as Interim Coordinator of the Early Childhood
Education Program.
