Robin Miller entered the disability field as a gerontologist, earning her Master's Degree in Gerontology from Baylor University and providing community-based services for older adults with disabilities for over a decade. After transitioning into public education, she worked in local school districts for 19 years. Ms. Miller served as an autism specialist, assistive technology specialist, specialized programs coordinator, and secondary education coordinator, providing direct services to students and training, mentoring, and technical assistance to staff members and families. Since joining the CDD Ms. Miller has served as Director of Employment Programs, overseeing three projects addressing the transition to adulthood and competitive, integrated employment for youth with disabilities across the state. She is a member of AAIDD, CEC, and DCDT.
