PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

1993-present  Institute for Community Inclusion-University of Massachusetts/Boston. Children's Hospital-Boston 

  • Program Manager-Coordinate the National Center on Workforce and Disability, a technical assistance centers for One-stop career centers regarding serving individuals with disabilities.
  • Senior Research Associate/Training Associate--Participate in national research concerning       employment experiences for individuals with disabilities.  Conduct in-service training for professionals in    rehabilitation field, family members and consumers. 

1991-1993 Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission  Brookline Area Office 

  • Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor--Coordinate vocational rehabilitation services for  a caseload of 140 individuals with disabilities.

1983-91 Training and Research Institute for People with Disabilities Children's Hospital

  • Research Assistant--1989-91  Participated in national study of day and employment services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Program Coordinator--1987-88  Work Experience Program
  • Administered vocational training program for individuals with disabilities.
  • Rehabilitation Counselor--1983-87  Work Experience Program and Developmental Evaluation Clinic.  Provided individual and group counseling.  Participated in interdisciplinary evaluations for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
