Communication with executive directors of subcontracted Assistive Technology Resource Centers (ATRCs); coordinate subcontracting process; writes and reviews RFPs for ATRCs; provide ongoing technical assistance to ATRCs to assure quality implementation of subcontracts. Builds and maintains relationships with potential external funders; reviews and reports on statewide demonstration and training efforts; prepares federal reports. Coordinates all Assistive Technology (AT) events with staff; primarily responsible for day-to-day management of PA's Initiative on Assistive Technology (PIAT); supports personnel functions including creation, hiring, and/or upgrading of staff positions; advocates for/models the integration of AT activities in other Institute programs; collaborates with dissemination unit to develop and maintain current web and print content key to the success of the program.
