Free Alaska LEND Learning Opportunity, April 4, 2025, 1-4pm. AI as Assistive Technology: Opportunities, Challenges, and Real World Implications. Presented by Andrew Harnish, PhD.

Participants will identify practical ways AI can support individuals with disabilities in daily living, communication, and learning. Participants will understand the challenges AI tools pose to people with disabilities, including cost and bias.  Participants will develop strategies for evaluating appropriate AI tools based on individual needs, environmental contexts, and available resources.
