AUCD Emerging Leaders Conference Scholarship

AUCD is pleased to offer scholarships for trainees to attend the AUCD Conference. This is an amazing learning and networking opportunity! Scholarships are available to: (a) current trainees and (b) former trainees that are presenting work conducted while a trainee and that completed their traineeship no earlier than December of the previous year. Priority will be given to those that have not attended the Conference before. Click here to learn more about the scholarship and application.

Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) Trainee Scholarships

AUCD, through its cooperative agreement with the federal Maternal and Child Health Bureau, offers scholarships for LEND Pediatric Audiology Trainees to attend the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) Meeting. Priority will be given to trainees from programs that do not currently receive supplemental funding and trainees that have not attended the EHDI Meeting in previous years.

Scholarships

At AUCD, we support our Emerging Leaders Community through two different types of scholarship for two Conferences during the academic year.

In addition to what AUCD offers, there are plenty of other scholarships available to support Emerging Leaders during their professional and leadership journeys. We recommend you start looking in the following places:

  • Your Program/Center site: Your faculty mentors may know of specific sources to search for scholarships based on your course of study and/or professional interests.
  • University: Your university tends to have a page on their website that describes what scholarships they provide and their eligibility requirements. You might also want to look at what is offered through your academic department.
  • Federal agencies: Look at federal agencies' websites (the Department of Labor, for example, has a free scholarship search tool) to see if one is a good match for you.
  • Organizations: Your professional association (for example, the National Association of Social Workers) and nonprofit agencies related to your discipline and/or interest areas might offer scholarships.
