Learning Community programs aimed at helping disadvantaged Omaha metro-area kids succeed in school are making a difference, according to a consultant hired by the entity to evaluate the programs. A team of evaluators, led by Lisa St. Clair of the Munroe-Meyer Institute at the University of Nebraska Medical Center examined programs ranging from tutoring to teacher coaching and preschool programs.
