African American Children in the Social Welfare System: Finding Solutions
Product Description:
This workshop will focus on the problems African American children, their families, and the community experience as a result of the disproportionate number of African American children in the child welfare system in Arizona. Participants will become aware of the magnitude of this problem and learn about efforts underway to reduce this disproportionality through collaborations and partnerships. Participants will be afforded an opportunity, through group dialogue to share their ideas on ways to address this problem and to join in the work of collaborating partners.
