Friendships & Dating: Needs Asssessment for the State of Wyoming
Product Description:
This needs assessment was conducted to inform the work of the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Project, an implementation of the Friendships & Dating Program in Wyoming. The needs assessment includes a summary of publically available state and county-level data related to teen pregnancy, STI and HIV onset rates, as well as demographic characteristics of the population of individuals with disabilities living in Wyoming. It includes a brief review of published academic literature on the sexual and reproductive health knowledge of individuals with disabilities. In addition to informing the work of the SRH Project, this needs assessment also identifies the need for the collection of sexual and reproductive health data as it is specifically related to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
