Participants will be able to identify the specific aspects of the child care center environment that are related to obesogenic health behaviors in preschool children and understand the role of nutrition professionals in early care environments. The impact of child care centers (CCC) on childhood overweight and obesity has not been thoroughly explored. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between obesogenic characteristics of CCC and child weight among American Indian-affiliated centers in Oklahoma.
