Product Description:
The Emergency Management program in Disability and Health stresses the fundamental skills of emergency management while providing interdisciplinary study covering the related skills and practices of inclusive emergency planning, management, and leadership for the whole community.
The main purpose of the program is to cover the needs of emergency management professionals, addressing the various aspects of natural and human caused disasters. The inclusive-knowledge-based approach to strategically plan for disaster prevention, reduction, response, and recovery is to plan for the whole community such as access and functional needs.
Will be proposed in Fall 2017 to the Curriculum Committee.
