Product Description:

Finding Me is a step-by-step guide for adults with IDD who wish to create a "Personal Statement". The Personal Statement is the culmination of this 12-week curriculum, which prompts users to think critically about ten major facets of their lives. These include "Where I Live", "People I Know and Care About", "My Body and My Mind", and "Where I Work". Originally intended to be used to assist people with IDD to advocate for themselves in ISP meetings, Personal Statements can be used in a wide variety of contexts. The curriculum was reorganized and published in May, 2018.
