Product Description:

The KY Early Childhood Core Content was first developed and published in 2002 by a work group convened by the KIDS NOW Initiative. In 2004 the document was revised based on feedback from the early childhood field and from expert reviewers, expanded, and re-formatted. The document describes the knowledge, compentencies, and characteristics needed by early care and education personnel. It is divided into 7 subject areas, with 5 levels in each area. The revised document has been available on the KIDS NOW website as of August 2004.
