Oklahoma UCEDD/LEND staff/Core faculty, intern, family advocates, and Faculty Associate made a poster presentation of "Flipping the 'Miller's Prism' Pyramid: A Competency Model for Parents as Educators" at Health Professionals Education Research Day in Oklahoma City, OK. The poster presented a theoretical framework for Parents as Educators that use a modified Miller's Prism model to describe how family members of people with I/DD gain competency as educators.
