Oklahoma UCEDD/LEND staff/Core faculty and family advocate presented "How Self-Advocates, Parents and DD Network Partners are Working Together to Change Disability Policy for the Better" at the 2019 AUCD Conference in Washington DC. OK, MA, WA each represented their states and how each agency or program worked to improve advocacy in their own state. They gave specific strategies to improve advocacy training by bringing a 4th partner to the DD Network.
