Product Description:

More and more LENDs have been training individuals who identify as a person with I/DD. These are often referred to as Self-Advocate or Advocacy trainees. The goal of this is to improve systems that persons with I/DD use and ensure the voice of Self-Advocates are part of the training program. Programs have done this in different ways. Distance delivery technology has increased accessibility to LEND programs for Self-Advocates.
