RRTC - Is it Time to (Re)Consider Defining Health?: Perspective from Disability and Chronic Conditions
Product Description:
The World Health Organizations 1948 definition of health has drawn recent criticism. Concerns relate to considering health as a
continuum rather than complete state; existential health in addition to physical, mental and social dimensions; health as balance that requires adaptation to cope with stress; consideration of chronic diseases and disability; and influences of social, personal and environmental factors. We propose a new 2020 definition of health.
