From Covid-19 to Co-Video sessions for Developmental Occupational, Physical, and Speech and Language Therapy in a Pandemic Urban Hot Zone

During the Covid-19 crisis, therapeutic services in our Bronx-based center abruptly transitioned to Telehealth. In our study, we surveyed the experiences of caregivers of children and adults with developmental disabilities who used Telehealth-based occupational, physical, or speech and language therapies. The aim of our study was to determine whether therapy telehealth services were supportive, feasible, and effective for our families during the COVID-19 pandemic in the New York City area.
