Financial worry among working-age persons with disabilities who reside in federally assisted rental housing

30 percent or more of all working-age HUD-assisted residents worry about housing costs. No statistically significant differences in levels of financial worry about housing costs between these two populations and their reference groups were found, however. Higher proportions of HUD-assisted working-age persons with a self-reported disability experience health care related worries compared to persons without disabilities, controlling for other factors.
