This paper identifies a need for additional research on the relationship between food insecurity and disability and estimates the prevalence of household food insecurity for people with disabilities across five large-scale surveys representative of U.S. households or individuals: the Current Population Survey, Panel Study of Income Dynamics, National Health Interview Survey, National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, and the American Housing Survey.
