In October 2005 Alianzas acted ? for a second time ? as statewide coordinator for the Bi-National Health Week in Missouri, which annually strives to increase public awareness, understanding, and knowledge of health services available at the local level for Latino immigrants. Nearly 500 packets of bilingual health information were distributed to participants and additional Latino community members.
