Product Description:

The purpose of this research was to develop a resource that provides physical therapists (PTs) background information on Friedreich's ataxia (FRDA), which is a genetic condition PTs may encounter in practice. The resource guide provides genetic information as well as specific, evidence-supported physical therapy techniques that are beneficial for these patients. The aim of this resource is to prepare PTs to meet the needs of patients with FRDA, inclusive of their psychosocial wellbeing.
