Product Description:

One of the hallmarks of independence is choosing your own path. That is why supported decision-making (SDM) is so important. SDM is a tool that allows people with disabilities to choose their own support system to help them make choices. It's something that should start from day one – at the doctor, in IEP meetings, at home. Nurturing and helping that autonomy, that personal freedom to grow is one of the most important things we can do as individuals, caregivers and community members.
