Although cultural competency and diversity are important topics that many human service professionals are familiar with, considerations as to how cultural competency and diversity apply to working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) is often not addressed. This webinar described how cultural competency, diversity, accessibility, and inclusivity are important factors to address in serving individuals with IDD. Practical strategies were also shared.
