Product Description:

This session will address substance (alcohol, illicit drug, opioid) use as it pertains to school-aged youth. Prevalence, risk, and protective factors will be discussed along with evidence-based programming for preventing and responding to substance use across tiers 1, 2, and 3. The intersectionality between educational and medical-model approaches will be highlighted with emphasis on how to work collaboratively with community stakeholders to address this complex issue.
