IDD individuals have lower employment rates. Video-based instruction (VBI) can improve this. This review examined VBI's application in teaching job skills to secondary students with IDD. 21 studies confirmed VBI's effectiveness, with video prompting and error correction being common. However, VBI was limited to few occupations and contexts, mostly school settings and repetitive tasks. Future research should explore VBI's broader application to diverse skills and real employment settings.
