Explores the theory and application of concepts central to human security includes peacebuilding, health security, gender inequality and security, climate change and environmental security, and food security. Students will examine the conceptual roots of human security, connecting its origins to its application in a time of conflict, inequality, environmental stress, and the aftermath of a global pandemic.
