This course examines the leadership, influence, decision-making, and problem-solving skills required of individuals in emergency response situations. Specific emphasis is placed on case studies from natural and artificial disasters, providing readers with decision-making skills in various global settings. Students who complete this course will be prepared to take the final examinations for IS-240 and IS-241 certification from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
