The Kansas City Healthy Start program was interested in identifying programs in Kansas City that provide cultural competency training to providers and educational presentations to immigrants. 7 Participants Five agencies reported that they provided cultural competency training. Three agency representatives noted workshops on how to work with interpreters. Four agencies listed other workshops (e.g., diversity training; Bridging the Gap for Medical Interpreters).
