Product Description:
"Take a Look at Me" is a trademarked strengths-based portfolio process used in early intervention to help parents identify their child's unique strengths, interests, and natural learning opportunities. The protfolio process uses pictures of the child and guided text that provides parents with the opportunity to take a closer look at their child and create a visual record of who their child is today - they know their child best and service providers need their input. Sharing the portfolio with service providers and teachers allows parents to actively participate in the assessment of their child while it makes sure that everyone understands the positive highlights of their child's interests and strengths. As the child grows and changes, the protfolio can grow too - creating a visual record of the child's story. The portfolio is an excellent tool to use as the child transitions to new places and learning environments. The Portfolio is available in English, Spanish, French, Korean, and Vietnamese. Tips in the promotional brochure can help parents get started on creating their child's "Take a Look at Me" portfolio.
