Product Description:

Caring for children in after school programs requires specialized skills. Children are learning new skills and acquiring new interests every day in school. We will discuss the same 13 knowledge and skill areas known as the Child Development Associate (CDA) competency standards: safety, health, environment, physical, cognitive, communication, creative, self, social, guidance, families, management, and professionalism. Each area will be discussed as to teacher competencies, environmental impact, and organization.
