Product Description:

An Indiana visual artist explains the importance of finding and developing relationships with mentors, and his success and satisfaction in mentoring his own students. In particular Neufelder describes a transformative relationship with a student artist who has autism and other significant disabilities. A stint as an arts administrator bolstered the grant writing and project management skills that have helped Neufelder survive as an artist. As a quadriplegic man in his forties, he talks about strategies for focusing his career priorities in the face of increasing health challenges.
