After participation in this module, students will: 1. Better understand the legislative process 2. Learn how the Disability Policy meeting benefits individuals with disabilities, family members, trainees, and others who wish to know more about and participate in the policy process 3. Work with past LEND trainees and connect with current LEND trainees to learn how best to participate in this meeting and report it back to other LEND trainees 4. Create a plan for the five trainees? time at the meeting and for their post-meeting presentations 5. Describe strategies for incorporating advocacy into their work with and for children and families
