Product Description:
Management of care of children with special health care needs in school is a three-part lecture series that addresses important educational issues related to working with children with special health care needs (CSHCN) and their families and topics related to the management and care of certain medical conditions in the educational setting (i.e., universal precautions, seizure disorders, administering medication, tracheotomy care, ventriculoperitoneal shunts, clean intermittent catheterization, respiratory care). The intended audience is graduate-level students enrolled in TAL 680 at UM SOE.
