Picturing My World: Community Photography and Story Project

Product Description:

The exhibit is the culmination of a community photography project. Bloomington, Indiana area residents who have disabilities photographed subjects of personal significance in their everyday lives. Participating photographers included those who had limited or no experience using a camera. They worked in partnership with members of the Bloomington Photography Club. In addition, participants created brief text stories about their lives. Initially mounted at the Monroe County Public Library, the exhibit was re-mounted, with text stories added, at the Bloomington Senior Expo, 5/16/08.
