An effectiveness study conducted across 16 residency programs nationally (pediatric and OB/GYN residencies)of the value of the Brighter Tomorrows web-based tutorial in improving residents' knowledge and perceived comfort level in delivering a prenatal or newborn Down syndrome diagnosis to families. Results indicated significant gains in knowledge and perceived comfort level for both pediatric and OB/GYN residents who participated in the study.
