In today?s world where needs are great and resources are limited, proficiency and skill in grant writing is essential for those in leadership and management positions in human service organizations. Grant writing is a process of research, planning, persistence, and attention to detail, followed by more research, more planning, more persistence and more attention to detail. When you think you?ve finished, more planning, and persistence and attention to detail are usually required! This course will introduce and assist Fellows to hone these skills relative to preparing grant applications.
