Effective communication is critical for success in a graduate education program and in leadership positions. This course is required for all students matriculating in the MHA and MPA/Health programs and is highly recommended for all LEND fellows. The course covers key topics including writing, referencing, and presenting. It also covers the ethical conduct of research and the protocols required by UMASS in preparation for conducting research.
