Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a chronic condition that affects millions of children and often persists into adulthood. Characteristics of ADHD include difficulties in attention span/distractibility, impulse control and hyperactivity. Effective intervention requires a combination of strategies to maintain consistency and structure. This monograph contains some tips for teachers and parents to help ADHD students/children stay focused and create a positive, nurturing learning environment for everyone.
